Almost no Orange County home care or NEMT competitor publishes pricing. Opacity is the industry default. We lead with transparency — because health is everything, and your time is too.
California-licensed Home Care Organization (CDSS HCS 281). All caregivers are W-2 employees of Abeó — fully background-checked, registered on the California Home Care Aide Registry (HCAR), insured, and covered by workers compensation. You pay Abeó; we manage the caregiver relationship.
Abeó Care is non-medical home care. Clinical home health (RN / LVN / PT / OT / Speech) launches in Phase 3 as Abeó Clinical under a separate CDPH Home Health Agency license. Until then, our caregivers operate within HCA scope.
| Caregiver level | Rate to family | What's included |
|---|---|---|
| Companion | $36/hr | Companionship, social engagement, light housekeeping, meal prep, errands |
| Personal Care Aide / HHA | $40/hr | Personal care, hygiene, mobility, transfers, medication reminders, ADL support |
| CNA (where state-credentialed) | $44/hr | All HHA scope + post-procedure recovery support, vital sign monitoring |
| Live-in / 24-hour care | $360/day | Continuous in-home presence; rates per CA Wage Order 15 |
Minimums: 4-hour visits for first 30 days; 3-hour visits thereafter (industry standard for caregiver scheduling viability).
Our rates are at parity with leading Orange County home care agencies ($36–$48/hr). What you're paying for is vertical depth — every Care visit is coordinated through Abeó Connect (your dedicated coordinator), caregivers can call on Abeó Transport for medical appointments, and Phase 3 brings Abeó Clinical (RN/LVN/PT/OT) under the same trusted network. Other agencies sell you one service. Abeó coordinates a whole journey.
| Clinical service | Indicative rate |
|---|---|
| LVN home visits | ~$95/visit |
| RN home visits | ~$135/visit |
| PT / OT / Speech | ~$150–$185/visit |
Target Month 18–24, when the CDPH HHA license lands. Many Medicare and Medicare Advantage plans cover these — we handle benefit coordination.
Ambulatory rides coordinated through Uber Health (variable cost). Wheelchair-accessible (WAV) rides on Abeó's owned 2-van fleet — reliable supply where Uber Health is patchy.

Many Medicare Advantage plans now cover NEMT as a supplemental benefit. We help families navigate benefit eligibility before quoting direct-pay. Free benefit verification call.
Care Van and Care 22 (premium owned-fleet competitors) don't publish rates — opacity by default. Industry benchmarks place wheelchair NEMT at $45–$90 base + $3–$7/mile. We sit at the lower end of that range with door-through-door coordination included.

We are curated, not volume-driven. We do not match A Place for Mom's "every facility pays us" model. We disclose our facility relationships and decline to refer when a family doesn't fit the community we'd recommend. The right placement matters more than the commission.

Yes. Abeó Care is a California-licensed Home Care Organization (CDSS HCS 281). All caregivers are W-2 employees — fully background-checked through DOJ/FBI, registered on the California Home Care Aide Registry (HCAR), insured, and covered by workers compensation. You pay Abeó; Abeó pays the caregiver and handles all employer responsibilities.
We operate at HCO rate parity ($36–$48/hr), but you get vertical depth that no other OC agency offers — every Care visit is coordinated through Abeó Connect (your dedicated coordinator), caregivers integrate with Abeó Transport for medical appointments, and Phase 3 adds clinical home health (RN/LVN/PT/OT) under the same network. You're paying for the full journey, not a single hourly visit.
Some Medicare Advantage plans cover NEMT (Abeó Transport). Long-term care insurance often covers Abeó Care. We help with benefit verification before any direct-pay arrangement.
Tell us. We re-match within 48 hours, no fee. The Registry model means you're not stuck with the first person we send.
